Viineet Kumar Siingh Joins Akshay Kumar In Sci Fi Thriller Samuk

Viineet Kumar Siingh is adding another exciting project to his rapidly expanding lineup, and this time he is stepping into the world of science fiction. The actor has joined Akshay Kumar in Samuk, an upcoming alien survival-action thriller produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah under Sunshine Pictures. Directed by Kanishk Varma, the film is being mounted on an ambitious scale and is currently being shot in the UK, with a theatrical release expected in 2027.

Viineet will reportedly play a pivotal role in the film and share a significant portion of the narrative with Akshay Kumar. While details about his character are being kept under wraps, his involvement adds another layer of intensity to a story that combines alien threats, survival and action. Known for bringing considerable physicality and emotional weight to his performances, Viineet appears well suited to a film that promises to push its cast into unfamiliar territory.

Samuk is being presented as a genre-blending sci-fi adventure that aims to combine Hollywood-style creature effects with military action and survival elements. The film has also brought on acclaimed creature-effects artist Alec Gillis, known for his work on major Hollywood franchises including Alien and Predator. His involvement suggests that the makers are taking the film’s extraterrestrial elements seriously, particularly when it comes to creating a convincing creature threat.

For Viineet, Samuk arrives at an interesting point in his career. The actor has impressed audiences with intense performances across films such as Mukkabaaz and more recently Chhaava, Jaat, Superboys of Malegaon, Nishaanchi and Hello Bachhon. Moving into a large-scale science-fiction action thriller gives him an opportunity to explore another side of his acting, while his rugged screen presence could prove to be a strong addition to the film’s survival-driven narrative.

The project also marks an interesting reunion between Akshay Kumar and producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah after more than a decade. Co-produced by Aashin A Shah, Samuk is currently being filmed in the UK as the team works on a story that promises practical creature work, action and a distinctly international visual scale. With Kanishk Varma at the helm and an ensemble led by two performers known for their commanding screen presence, expectations are already beginning to build around the project.

With Samuk targeting cinemas in 2027, the combination of Akshay Kumar and Viineet Kumar Siingh gives the film an intriguing central pairing. Add an alien survival story, military-style action and creature effects from a Hollywood veteran, and the project certainly has the ingredients of something different for Indian audiences. For now, the makers are keeping the mystery alive, but one thing is clear — Samuk is aiming to take Bollywood into some seriously unexplored territory.
